The Village at Mondawmin Tenants

Experience a dynamic community hub at The Village at Mondawmin, where a diverse array of tenants — ranging from comprehensive medical services to specialized employment training — are actively working to empower our residents. Current tenants are already making a tangible difference, and exciting new partnerships are on the horizon. ​

CareFirst will utilize its space to host workforce development training and expand wraparound support services to reduce barriers to gainful employment. They will also address employee workspace and community engagement initiatives that are focused on opportunities for city residents.

PACE WB.png

Edenbridge PACE is a federal-state program to finance comprehensive care for low-income elders. The interdisciplinary team guides all aspects of participant care through the development of individualized therapeutic supports. They provide all needed preventative, primary, acute and long-term care services.

TouchPoint focuses on bringing together people from different neighborhoods to lift each other up and break social isolation. They are partnered with three high performing non-profits: Thread, Baltimore Corps and Center for Urban Families. The hope is that TouchPoint will be replicated in other Baltimore communities.

The University of Maryland’s Engineering Makerspace at Mondawmin is a vibrant community hub with a woodshop and cutting-edge digital fabrication tools. Through classes and open shop hours, community members can explore, learn, create together, bring ideas to life and foster connections through the power of making.

University of Maryland Baltimore in partnership with the School of Medicine will establish a health village that promotes health and wellness by offering convenient and comprehensive medical and dental services for children and adults. Medical services will include primary care, mental health and some subspecialty care.

The Reginald F. Lewis Museum brings an impactful display titled: “Blacks in White” to The Village at Mondawmin. This historical display highlights the resilience, innovation and leadership of Black health practitioners in combating medical racism and advancing public health in the Baltimore and Chesapeake region.

The Whiting-Turner Conference Center will feature a 160-person training facility, two executive conference rooms and a catering kitchen. In addition to addressing Whiting-Turner’s conference space and training needs, this new space will also increase employee engagement with TouchPoint and the local community.
